ROGER THACKER MEMORIAL EVENT

May 8, 2010 - Roger Thacker Memorial Event

Although the day was cold and rainy we had several people show up and seven tough riders who rode the shortened 51 mile Memorial Run.  An Honorary Diploma & Fundraising Dollars of $1428 were presented to Roger's Family at the end of the day after which everyone watched a picture presentation of Roger's life set to music.  Roger will be missed but not forgotten!  See the Thank You from Roger's family below:

On behalf of Roger Thacker the family – Kathy, Son Dustin, Daughter Christina, Mother & Father, Brother & Sister and Uncle Larry and All those that loved Roger – we want to thank each and every one for the kindness shown to the family during this very difficult time.  We especially thank Denise for the communication and helping organize fundraisers for Roger’s kids.  We appreciate every effort from each one involved.
We appreciate so much the school bestowing an Honorary Diploma to Roger.  That means so much to all of us.  Those that loved Roger know how much this would have meant to him and know the sacrifice and effort he put into it.  He would have been so proud – we are all so proud of him.
Roger was so special to all of us and will always be loved and missed.  We again thank each and everyone for your kindness and for what you have done for Roger and his family.  Your thoughtfulness will always be remembered.
