Grants are money awarded to students who demonstrate financial need. This money is applied to the students’ educational expenses and need never be repaid.
Students have opportunities to qualify for the following grants:
Federal Pell Grant
Undergraduate students are eligible for this grant and automatically apply each year by completing the FAFSA. The federal government determines eligibility and the maximum yearly amount.
Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)
First-year Undergraduate students are eligible for this grant and automatically apply each year by completing the FAFSA. The federal government determines eligibility and the maximum annual amount for this grant is $300.
Student State Incentive Grant (SSIG)
A grant program admininstered through the student's state of residence. The State determines eligibility and the transportability of the grant. Not all states participate in the SSIG program, so students should contact their local authorities.
Julius A. Brenner Founders Grant
An OTC/PSI grant that is awarded to students who demonstrate exceptional financial need. The maximum amount is $1,500 and is awarded to first year students only.
