Student Reviews

PSI graduates share how PSI helped provide the training they needed to be successful.

Bill Smith (VT-04) –
PSI Graduate,
September 2010

Proud owner of Smitty's Cycle Shack, "Specializing in New, Used and Abused"

"I hadn't been in school since 1980, so I thought there was going to be more book work and homework, but it was not a strenuous amount. It was enough to get you thinking, and the core classes were cool, and once I got back into the V-Twin labs, it was even better. The instructor's knowledge was unreal."

Jerami Haws (VT-09) –
PSI Graduate, September 2011

Continuing to learn while in the motorcycle industry …

His main objective, while in school, was to prepare himself to become a technician in a Harley-Davidson dealership. "PSI gave me the skills to obtain a position in the industry, but you will always continue learning in this field." He continued to stop in and talk with the service department at Century, and while he was still in school in March 2011, he was hired part-time as a technician. Upon graduation from PSI in November 2011, he went full-time and became one of five technicians in the Service department.

Jeremy Utley (PS-26) –
PSI Graduate, July 2009

Seasoned technician at friendly Honda Yamaha in Baton Rouge, La.

Jeremy said, "I had about a half hour phone interview, and they asked if I would be willing to come down and meet them if they flew me in. Of course, I said, 'yes.' When I arrived, everyone was very friendly, talked to me and walked me around the shop; you couldn't ask for a better group of people to work with. They worked with me the whole way through the move; they helped me out, and in return, it has been a great place to work. I can ride and work all year-round. I have made great friends and love my job."

Cory Greenwood (PT-16) –
PSI Graduate, December 2011

Proud employee at Xtreme Motorcycles of Cambridge

Coming to PSI gave me the technical skills and interviewing skills to land the job at Xtreme Motorcycles of Cambridge. I have been using many of the techniques that I learned in class to complete jobs correctly on the side for friends and family and jobs in the shop. Many of the interviewing techniques that I learned in class I used in the interview process, and now, I have a job! Thanks to all of you for your help!

Ryan Reese (PT-18) –
PSI Graduate, February 2012

Proving his skills one step at a time...

"I will, without a doubt, say PSI gave me an opportunity because I talked to CCM, Clinton County Motorsports, before I went to school, and they told me to go to school and finish and come back after I graduate. After I graduated, they liked my qualifications that I came in with, and as I started coming around, they started to look into PSI. Even my manager said, from his understanding, PSI is quite a bit better than other schools out there. Some of the stuff I can honestly say I couldn't have done without going to PSI. I am very happy."

Caitlin Whitaker (PT-06) –
PSI Graduate, December 2010

Seasonal technician for Midwest Cycle Repair

Caitlin said, "I used a lot of the training from PSI, and I ended up doing well. It was a great job to have."
