The PSI training center is designed with a specific goal in mind: comprehensive training to create today's drivability and maintenance specialists. The facility is divided into several major sections:
The lab areas are laid out to function just like a service center. The Manager of the Day will hand out repair orders. Students will have to locate resources, utilize online computer systems to look up parts and information, gather tools and manuals, and then be able to demonstrate the current skill – all under one roof!
Main Street PSI: The manufacturer store fronts lead into each lab service center area. Provides the feeling you are walking into a dealership.
There are a lot of advantages to having the mid-west manufacturer dealer training on campus, but many of the students like the new units that they bring on campus.
Our engine course is the very first course you will experience. We don’t just sit you down and lecture to you about the theory of an engine without you experiencing the proper methods to disassemble, inspect, and reassemble the engine. Every student will have the opportunity to follow along with an instructor lead demonstration - look, touch and feel the component in your hands - and understand what function that component has in the system.
Though out the program you will experience hands on training on a variety of engines.
Our fuel course prepares you to become efficient with service intervals, fuel system troubleshooting as well as carburetor servicing and tuning.
Your next step are the manufacturer endorsed and recognized training courses.
Yamaha Power Sport Academy course is endorsed by Yamaha and offers the opportunity for students to earn bronze level recognition once employed by a Yamaha Dealership
Suzuki Service Pro opportunity is what every Suzuki technician works towards while in a dealership.
