The PSI training center is designed with a specific goal in mind: comprehensive training to create today's drivability and maintenance specialists. The facility is divided into several major sections:

  • Manufacturer Dealer Training Centers: Kawasaki, Yamaha, Polaris, Victory and S&S Engine
  • Manufacturer Training Shops: Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha and Honda
  • Off-Road Shop: ATVs, Personal Watercraft, Snowmobiles and Utility Vehicles
  • Core Training Classrooms and Shops: Engine, Fuel, Chassis, Suspension and Electrical
  • American V-Twin Training Center: Harley-Davidson, Victory, Custom Bike Building and S&S Engine

The lab areas are laid out to function just like a service center. The Manager of the Day will hand out repair orders. Students will have to locate resources, utilize online computer systems to look up parts and information, gather tools and manuals, and then be able to demonstrate the current skill – all under one roof!

Main Street PSI: The manufacturer store fronts lead into each lab service center area. Provides the feeling you are walking into a dealership.

Student appreciation day, very cool, S&S was on campus providing information to students and OTC/PSI President took some test rides on some very cool machines.

There are a lot of advantages to having the mid-west manufacturer dealer training on campus, but many of the students like the new units that they bring on campus.

  

 

Our engine course is the very first course you will experience. We don’t just sit you down and lecture to you about the theory of an engine without you experiencing the proper methods to disassemble, inspect, and reassemble the engine.  Every student will have the opportunity to follow along with an instructor lead demonstration - look, touch and feel the component in your hands - and understand what function that component has in the system.

Though out the program you will experience hands on training on a variety of engines.

Simple hands-on methods to provide you the experience and confidence to troubleshoot electrical systems

 

  

 Our fuel course prepares you to become efficient with service intervals, fuel system troubleshooting as well as carburetor servicing and tuning.

You’re ready for Off Road Technology: personal watercraft, snowmobiles, ATV’s and utility vehicles. This course provides you with a variety of experience on drive systems, clutches, track systems and much more.

All of our manufacturer courses are set-up with service counters that provide you real shop experiences. From receiving a repair order, to finding the vehicle, setting it up on a lift and performing a variety of technician job functions.

Yamaha Power Sport Academy course is endorsed by Yamaha and offers the opportunity for students to earn bronze level recognition once employed by a Yamaha Dealership

Suzuki Service Pro opportunity is what every Suzuki technician works towards while in a dealership. As a PSI student you have the opportunity to meet the requirements once entering a Suzuki Dealership and meeting the time in the dealership requirement. You will work on a verity of motorcycles and ATV”s.

 

Honda Pro-Track prepares you for the Honda Bronze level, working on Honda touring, sport, and off road vehicles.

American V-Twin 48 weeks 1200 hours of American made machines hands on training with performance products, custom bikes, Victory motorcycle technology and Harley Davidson motorcycles. This course is endorsed by Victory Motorcycle and S&S Cycle.
